| Last Sunday the boys and I visited my parents in Searcy. Mom and I snuck away to V Smith Estate Sales and had a blast! I’ve been collecting carrom boards so I can create a carrom board selfie station at Bella Rustina. I had no idea there were stands for carrom boards, but I now have one! The carrom board also came with game pieces, cue sticks, and game instructions. I told the workers about my crewel collection and one showed me the amazing Mid-Century Modern tension pole light. I’ve needed a light by my sofa, so I was thrilled to give it a new home. Then I found the matching tension rod bookshelf. My only complaint is both were made for 8′ ceilings and my house has 8’4″ ceilings (because Maumelle homes are built weird), so I used Reader’s Digest books to make up the difference in height. I haven’t had a chance to decorate the shelf yet, but I plan to fill it with plants since that room gets lots of natural light. I also found the awesome butterfly bowl, pan strainer, and cake cutter with Bakelite handle there. I forgot to take photos, but I also got some Mid-Century Modern lawn chairs that are awesome! I had a blast finding these items – It was a great shopping trip!
