| I’ve never been diagnosed with ADD, but I’m pretty sure I’ve got that superpower. When it comes to email night, it’s the main reason this email goes out so late – I find myself dilly-dallying and tonight I was scrolling Facebook at around 10:30PM and a lady had just posted she was putting her 9′ flocked Christmas tree to the curb for free. I messaged her and she gave me her address. I drove over expecting to throw the tree in my truck and get home quickly to get back on task, but the lady was outside sipping her wine. We talked about how she had just gifted a wicker patio set and other furniture her husband was tired of. Then she told me about this amazing antique buffet she got for a steal and took me inside her house to show me (it was incredible). I love Maumelle – I got myself an awesome Christmas tree to use for future Bella Rustina selfie stations and made a new friend all while most of the town was probably asleep. Last week was the annual Maumelle Chamber of Commerce banquet. I got a table for 8 of my Bella Rustina crew. I always enjoy catching up with everyone since we don’t get to talk much during the shows. Christie (black cardigan), who started helping with the shows last year, won the Ambassador of the Year award. She lives in Conway, but spends lots of time in Maumelle volunteering and absolutely earned the award! I have worked with her for years on Maumelle events like Very Merry Maumelle and the Food Truck Festival, so when she offered to come work my shows, I was all for it. Robin showed up and showed out in her 1970s jumpsuit she found at Antique Alley Arkansas a few years ago. The theme of the banquet was “Fire and Ice” and she definitely brought the fire! Taimi and I had to do our usual “flex” photo. She just got back from winning the Strong-Woman competition in Austin, Texas. I’ve got a team of all-stars for sure!
