Labor Day Junkin’

In my opinion, one of the best places to go junkin’ in central Arkansas is on Hwy 65 outside of Conway.  Quite a few shops line that highway until you get outside of Greenbrier.  Most of them are flea markets with gems hidden here and there, which is great for buying things to resell.  And for inspiration, my new favorite place is Arkansas Peddlers Antique Mall.  I’ve been wanting to go by there ever since they opened, but life has been soooo busy that I haven’t made it out that way.  As it was, during my visit I was in a hurry to leave to go to my mother-in-law’s for a get-together, so I didn’t get to fully take it all in.  All I can say is that I can’t wait to go back when I have more time!

When I walked in the door, I was greeted from the left by this super fun outdoor stuff:

The lighting is excellent in the building, so the bright colors of the furniture and decor really pop! I love  the old awnings they have here and there. You can see the bottom of one in the photo below:

The paint on the walls is really fun throughout the shop:

The booths are set up so well — it’s like each one is its own room.  They look so good that they make me want to fix up my booths!

Not only is there fun kitchen stuff, but there’s also fun Shabby Chic stuff!

The back of the hutch below is brilliantly decoupaged (or maybe wall-papered).  So neat!

I enjoyed their collection of advertising.  It’s not every day that you see such variety!

Gotta love cabin/lodge decor!

I barely even skimmed the surface with the photos above.  Arkansas Peddlers Antique Mall has rows of displays full of just about anything you can imagine.  This is a new favorite place for me and I hope to go back soon!
