Last weekend was an eventful weekend. I decided at the last minute to have a yard sale to get rid of some of my junky items. On Friday at around 3:00PM I decided to close up for the day and covered everything up. At around 4:00 my hubby called saying he was coming home so I started bringing in things I didn’t want to leave out overnight. At some point during one of my short trips inside, someone stole my Iphone off my porch! The phone was a dinosaur (Iphone4) and I’ve been trying to make time to buy a new phone for at least a year, but that’s beside the point. I still can’t believe someone was that brave! Despite the negative, I got rid of a lot of junk and got to meet a bunch of nice people — and I finally got a new phone! 🙂
This Saturday I’m excited to be able to sell at the South Main Vintage Market. I have seen the vendor list and there are going to be lots of great booths there! Now if that 30% chance of rain will go to 0%, I’ll be totally pumped.
If you’re looking for an excuse to make a trip to Hot Springs soon, Moonlight Antiques is going out of business and they have started their store-wide clearance at 20%. I did a blog post about my junkin’ visit to Hot Springs if you would like to see photos from their shop and others. They have a phenomenal collection of old Christmas items if that’s your thing!
