Our turquoise Pyrex display turned out fantastic for the Glasshopper’s glass show last weekend. Neil brought some rare pieces that really stood out in the group – He brought so many different pieces we were able to add a second table to our display! I think our retro-Christmas-turquoise-birthstone-themed table turned out awesome.
I’m writing from Longview, Texas tonight. Today was the first day of setup for the Zonta Antique Show. My phone tells me I’ve walked almost 5.5 miles today on part one of setup that was from 10:30AM-6PM. Tomorrow will be a longer day so I might double the mileage. As soon as I hit “send” on this email I’ll be hitting the hay in this awesome mother-in-law quarters room that’s attached to the carport of our hostess’s home. These quarters are also her husband’s clock shop, so as I look around I see at least 20 clocks hanging from the wall, standing on the floor, or sitting on the antique roll-top desk I’m sitting at. I hear lots of tick-tocking, but it won’t matter because I’m sure I’ll be asleep in minutes once I lay down. I’m tuckered out! Poor Robin will do the same – she’s sitting on her bed finishing up name tags for our exhibitors for tomorrow.
The antique show will be fantastic, but when no one’s looking I’m working on the Bella Rustina show that’ll be in Little Rock next weekend. I took lots of “bathroom breaks” today so I could escape to answer emails, etc. Bella Rustina is looking great and I’m super excited for next Friday-Sunday!
