I don’t know where October went but it went by too quickly. We are quickly sliding into the holidays, which is blowing my mind!
Little Caleb’s birthday party went great. He got his hair cut on Thursday (his actual birthday) and the hairdresser put red wax in his hair and he thought it was so cool. That evening I just happened to look at my beige-turned-red couch where he had been laying. That stuff got everywhere. Thankfully I was able to use a dry paper towel to wipe it out of the fabric, but afterwards I promptly washed the stuff out so it wouldn’t get on anything else. Little Caleb got to pick out a bearded dragon lizard for his birthday. It is such a cool pet, but it (“Spike”) keeps me busy feeding it. I read they won’t overeat so I feed it crickets or shredded green leaf lettuce every time I have a spare moment and the next time I walk through it’s all gone. I guess that means it’s healthy and happy, so I’ll keep shoveling the food into its path.
