“I can (sleep)”
Little Caleb has an awesome Kindergarten teacher and it shows through how much he is learning and the work he brings home. The latest artwork in his writing journal features our usual bedtime routine. Little Caleb is depicted on the left in his bed lying down, I’m sitting in my recliner in the middle between the boys’ beds and Joshua is standing up in his crib, bright-eyed-and-bushy-tailed with a big smile on his face. Little Caleb is usually fast asleep in a matter of minutes after going to bed while his brother can take hours of rocking to get to sleep. It’s the reward I get for letting Joshua sleep in too late in the mornings while I work, but it always seems worth it at the time. Little Caleb’s artwork puts a smile on my face and it’s definitely a keeper.
