| Last Saturday I got to be a part of something really neat. My friend/coach Taimi had a couple streets shut down in Downtown Conway and held a “street skate” event in front of The Rogue Roundabout restaurant. It was really fun to watch. Taimi gave me some skates so now I don’t have any excuse but to (re-)learn how to skate. If I get good at skating y’all know I’ll be zooming everywhere during show setup for Bella Rustina and Antique Alley Arkansas! Speaking of Bella Rustina, things are getting cRaZy and exciting. I have the Conway event August 28-30 and then Rogers September 11-12. I have everything going in the right direction for Conway so I’m focusing on the details for Rogers. I just picked out 3 amazing digital billboards that (according to Lamar) will get over 600,000 views combined a week. My awesome rep is letting me do a countdown clock on the digital boards so it’ll be fun for the local commuters to watch the clock go from 29 days/ 23 hours/ 59 minutes down to showtime. My goal is to buy a box truck so I don’t have to take two vehicles to Rogers, but I keep chickening out because I’m scared of buying a lemon and getting stuck on the way there. It was bad enough last year that my second driver got sick and I ran out of gas while frantically calling for a backup driver. I’ll eventually figure out this out-of-town promoting stuff – It is super challenging and I’ll be so proud when I conquer it! Caleb and Joshua started school on Monday. I very much dislike that school starts so early for them. I, once again, did not take them or myself on a vacation because time got away from me, but we did do a bunch of overnight trips that were epic.
