Caleb finally caught a couple decent-sized fish on Friday. I think he had the best time of everyone on this trip because he got to eat crab legs all week and go fishing, swimming, and junking.

Our plane ride home was eventful. I didn’t allow enough time for us to drive an hour and a half to the car rental place, turn in the rental car, take an 8 minute shuttle from the car rental place to the airport, and then go through the Baltimore airport with a bazillion people, so we boarded the plane 10 minutes before it took off. Southwest doesn’t assign seats so the boys sat together and I was two rows behind them. The boys did amazing the whole 2-hour trip, but as the plane touched down on the runway in St. Louis, Joshua decided it would be fun to yell, “AHhhhhh! We’re gonna die!” as we bounced around on the landing strip. There wasn’t a thing I could do but laugh and shush him from two rows back. Joshua, in his 6 years of wisdom, then decided he didn’t need to sit with his brother and me from St. Louis to Little Rock, so he claimed a window seat across the aisle from us. I warned him strangers would sit beside him, but he didn’t care. That was the quietest that kid was the whole trip. It was kinda nice!

I went in for a checkup on my shoulder Monday morning and my healing is going well. I almost have my complete range of motion back. I’m not supposed to lift anything more than a cup in my right arm for another month so I’m doing my Crossfit classes one-armed so I don’t get completely out of shape. The stitches were driving me crazy and were in well past 2 weeks, so when I caught Caleb staring at them Saturday I told him if he pulled on one of the strings, the stitch would come out. He said, “Nuh uh!” and I dared him to pull on one and sure enough the stitch came right out. We won’t mention we were in a restaurant when he did this. Ha!

It’s nice to be home working on the September 6-8 Bella Rustina. I worked quite a bit last week and everything is looking great. We’ll be celebrating fall before we know it! In the meantime, here are the sales I know about for this weekend:
