In a few short hours I will be having shoulder surgery to remove a large bone spur. I’m too excited to be rid of the painful thing to be nervous. Dr. Hussey says the surgery will take around 30 minutes and will be minimally invasive. I made sure to get as much use out of my arm as possible in the last few days. Last Saturday I participated in the SO (Special Olympics) – Row competition. Each team had 6 teammates (our co-ed team was 3 men, 3 women) and we took turns rowing on a rowing machine for 20 minutes. We got 2nd place out of 11 teams. I heard the first place co-ed team got a better score than the winning all-men’s team – It was made up of incredible athletes and was amazing to watch! After the competition I spent the afternoon organizing my storage building because its disorderliness has been driving me bonkers and I knew I wouldn’t be able to do anything about it for a while. On Sunday afternoon I put up the 40 folding tables I used at Bella Rustina. Then yesterday during my workout I did 150 push-ups and fifty 175-pound deadlifts. Push-ups and moving tables cause me the most pain and I look forward to doing them pain-free in the future.
I went to Miss Estate Sale’s sale last week, but I’ve been so busy I didn’t get a chance to take photos of my awesome finds. I’ll try to do that by next week since I’ll most likely be taking it easy this weekend. Here are the sales I know about for this weekend:
