This weekend is Maumelle’s first annual tree-lighting ceremony. I’m the co-chair of the Holiday events happening the next 3 Saturdays and our committee has been working hard. The Maumelle Holiday parade will be at 5:00PM Saturday and then we’ll have the tree lighting ceremony at 6:30PM. Maumelle Parks and Recreation set up the tree for us and then I got to direct them where to put the large ornaments on the tree. It’s looks so good! I can’t leak photos of the finished product yet, but you can come see it this weekend!
