The boys and I had a blast at the Faulkner County Fair last Saturday. I got a wristband mostly so I could join them on the Tilt-A-Whirl. Caleb still isn’t a fan of fast rides and Joshua is my thrill-seeker (He’s in the Gravitron in the photo above). Caleb didn’t want me to join them for the first Tilt-A-Whirl ride because he was afraid I’d make them spin too fast. I laughed so hard when Joshua and Caleb together were spinning like a top. They had the best time and invited me to join them the next time, but we couldn’t spin as fast as the boys did by themselves.

I made the mistake of telling the boys about the kittens we’ll be getting in a couple weeks. Joshua is obsessed and asks me every day if we can get the kittens now. At church Joshua’s class created “prayer cups” and each child was encouraged to write a prayer request on a slip of paper for the cup. Joshua wrote “cat, cat, cat” for his prayer request. He is so ready and I’m getting pretty excited myself!
